Alison is free of charge to you. But it’s still
a business – albeit a socially-focused one. We are a social enterprise making
our money through advertising, merchandise, and the sale of Certificates and
Diplomas, should a graduate choose to buy one. |
English is one of the most widely spoken languages in the world with more than 1.5 billion English speakers, 360 million of whom use English as a second language. This course is designed for non-native English speakers who are interested in advancing their careers in the global marketplace.
In this course, you will learn about the job search, job application, and the interview process as they apply in the United States, while comparing and contrasting the same processes in your home country. This course will also give you the opportunity to explore your global career path, while building your vocabulary and improving your language skills to achieve your professional goals. This course will introduce the U.S. job application process and provide strategies for identifying the jobs that match your interests and skills.
You will also learn the steps needed to produce a professional-looking resume and how to write a clear and concise cover letter. The course finally focuses on networking skills
